Product Information

One of the deepest shades of orange you will ever see on a viola – a truly amazing choice!

This ‘Pumpkin’ mix is sure to add plenty of interest to any garden for a long period, from autumn to winter, featuring outstanding colour and a delicate fragrance.

The hardy and robust blooms are like small pansies and will freely flower during the colder months before producing a show-stopping crescendo of rich orange to herald the arrival of spring.

What’s more, the headline colour only stands out more as it contrasts so well set against green and healthy foliage.

As a naturally compact and versatile plant, this is ideal for filling hanging baskets and planters, edging beds and borders, or as an integral part of a formal bedding scheme.

Supplied as 30 garden ready plants, ready to plant out.

Care Information

Planting advice for your Violas

  • Give your garden ready plants a little attention on arrival - unpack them immediately, and either mist them or stand them in water for an hour - they may be slightly dry or yellow after being in a dark box in the post, but they’ll quickly recover.
  • If you can’t do this, they can sit in mini greenhouses for a week if upright and not too wet.
  • We recommend that you leave them to settle for a day somewhere warm, light and airy such as a windowsill or greenhouse.
  • If planting directly into flower beds, prepare the ground well, removing weeds and digging in some compost or well-rotted manure if your soil is not already rich.
  • Plant approx. 20cm apart to allow room to grow. Feed using a high-potash feed such as Blooming Fast Superior Soluble Fertiliser for Flowers & Fruits, to encourage flowering.
