These perennials flower late into the summer season to provide colour when others may be starting to tire, combining particularly well with ornamental grasses.

Stout stems hold the flowers above rich green foliage exceptionally well, with cone-shaped flowerheads facing up to the sky, allowing a ring of petals to droop elegantly downwards.
