Light up your garden with a breath taking late floral display of the Japanese Anemone 'Prince Heinrich'.

Incredibly vivid pink blooms that stand out thanks to their contrasting bright yellow centres.

Perfect for beds and borders, it will produce an abundance of large, pretty flowers just as your main season blooms a are starting to fade. Rising from the attractive foliage and opening up to show elegant, satin-like petals and a bright yellow contrasting centre.

'Prince Heinrich' will look simply stunning in borders, in any partly shaded area. Trim back in late autumn and leave in the ground over winter, under a good layer of mulch, and you will be rewarded with bigger, better displays for many years.

It is also recommended by the RHS as a 'Plant for Pollinators', with flowers that are a favourite with butterflies and bees. Therefore, if you are hoping to encourage some wildlife into your garden, this gorgeous perennial is perfect for you.

  • Cut back the stalks after after the flowers have faded, and tidy up old dead leaves in March, then mulch well.
  • Avoid moving the plant as it resents disturbance and can sulk for years!
  • If you need to, lift and divide clumps in autumn or early spring.
  • Easy to grow it may be slow to establish, but once it has you can virtually leave it alone
