Product Information

There are few more exciting sights than the bright colours of early spring flowers peeking up from the ground, marking the end of a long winter and promise of warmer weather to come.

This great value collection combines the ever-popular 'Tête-à-Tête' daffodil with compact and robust 'Early Red' tulips for a display that will get your garden noticed.

With distinctive flowers, 'Tête-à-Tête' daffodils are a must-have for any spring garden. A great, green-fingered investment, they will continue to bloom year after year, only returning bigger and better annually!

A brilliant performer in pots, 'Tête-à-Tête' produces plenty of pretty, golden-yellow flowers from late February.

Then, blooming from March, the 'Early Red' tulips boast robust, short-stemmed flowers. These red beauties are great for contrasting with the yellow daffodils and will pick up just as 'Tête-à-Tête' are finishing.

Plant these bulbs in pots or straight into flowerbeds and you will enjoy a host of delicate flowers in February and March.

Supplied as a pack of 70 bulbs, ready for planting in the autumn.

Top Tips

  • Which way up? Usually pointy end upwards, but if you are not sure, plant the bulb on its side and it will eventually right itself.

Care Information

Planting Advice for your bulbs:

  • Plant bulbs at twice the depth of the height of the bulb and four times their width apart, e.g. 5cm tall bulbs need to be planted 10cm below the surface of the ground and 20cm apart.
  • Add mycorrhizal fungi to the roots before planting to encourage faster and more reliable establishment.
  • Please check the bag for any additional planting instructions.
  • They are fine to plant even if a little green growth is showing; they will just need a good watering when you plant them, and thereafter only when the soil is dry.
  • Leave them in the ground once they die back – they will come back bigger and better each year.
  • While all the energy that a bulb needs in order to grow is stored in the bulb itself, they will do better if you feed them when in active green growth.
  • Plant in herbaceous borders, in pots, or leave in the ground to naturalise.
  • If planted in pots, be sure to water frequently and keep moist.

 Aftercare Advice for your bulbs:

  • Spring-flowering bulbs should be planted in the autumn for displays next season.
  • Some bulbs such as tulips can be planted as late as November, but it is best to get your bulbs in the ground as soon as you can so that they can establish a good root system before the weather becomes too cold.
  • Plant in herbaceous borders, in pots, or in the ground for naturalising.
  • Water frequently and if in pots, ensure that the compost doesn't dry out.
