Description

Extraordinary! Three Dreamy, New Varieties! Extended Colour From May To September, Loved By Bees And Brilliant As A Cut Flower!

These cheery varieties produce bobbing blooms in wave after wave of colour right through summer. While traditional Thrift flowers briefly and disappears, the varieties in the 'Dreameria' Collection keep on going from May right through to September.

'Daydream' dazzles with vivid, bright pink pom-poms, 'Dreamland' brings warm, gentle salmon tones, and 'Sweet Dreams' rounds things off with dusky rose-mauve blooms that look as though a florist designed them.

Plus, these are tough little plants. Drought-tolerant, compact, evergreen, and totally low-maintenance. They thrive in sunny, well-drained spots, so rockeries, gravel gardens, raised beds, stone troughs, patio pots, or the front of a sunny border. And of course, bees and butterflies cannot resist them.

Cut a few stems and pop them in a vase indoors, where they last beautifully.

Top Tips
Cut stems when the globe-shaped flowerheads are freshly open, trim the stem ends cleanly, and place in a vase of fresh water. They last well and look charming.
Care Information

When Your Plants Arrive:

  • Give them a good drink. Your Dreameria plants will have been on a journey to reach you, so stand the pots in a tray of water for around half an hour and let them soak up what they need from the bottom.
  • Once they have had their fill, allow them to drain freely and find them a bright, sunny spot to sit while you decide where they are going in the garden. A warm windowsill or a sheltered patio works well for a day or two if you are not quite ready to plant.

When to Plant:

  • The Dreameria Collection can be planted out from spring through to autumn. Avoid planting during spells of hard frost, waterlogged ground, or extreme summer heat.
  • If your plants arrive and the weather is not quite right, simply keep them in their 9cm pots somewhere light and frost-free, water lightly, and plant out when conditions improve.
  • These plants love sunshine! Choose the sunniest spot you have. A minimum of six hours of direct sun per day will keep them flowering their very best from May right through to September.
  • But remember, Armeria absolutely hate sitting in cold, wet soil, particularly over winter. If your soil is heavy clay, consider improving it by working in plenty of horticultural grit before planting, or grow your Dreameria plants in raised beds, stone troughs, patio pots, or gravel gardens where drainage is naturally excellent.
Delivery Information

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. Pre-ordered items will be sent as soon as possible after the date quoted and we'll generally ship your entire order with your pre-ordered items. When your order is dispatched, we'll send you another email with details of how to track it.

Most orders are sent on a fully-tracked courier service with Yodel. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, no signature is required, and our courier is asked to leave your order in a safe place on your property.

We'll send a tracking link when we dispatch your order, so you know when its due to arrive. Please note, once delivered we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft from your property. If you have any specific delivery instructions, please let us know - there's an option to enter a short message for the courier at the checkout.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.

Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please note, we cannot guarantee delivery on a certain day or time. Delivery to outlying postcode areas may take 1-2 days longer, dependent on your location.
